The 1st Work Party!!

Set your alarm clocks folks, March 13 9AM to ?? If we get rained out, the following Sat will be the date.
Help us clean and groom the track and scrub the concession stand for the new season. Everyone is welcome, even if you show up to ask questions and meet the other volunteers. We will provide some food (burgers I think??) for lunch, so load up on coffee and we’ll see Saturday morning!!

Langley BMX 2010 Team

The gang at Langley BMX have been hard at work during these rainy days preparing for the upcoming season. One of the major projects that we’re working on is a trophy team. The team is open to riders of all abilities and ages. The goal of the team is to improve riding skills while contributing to the community in a variety of ways.

We’re hoping to get as many riders involved before the season opens in the Spring.

Volunteer Awards

So the punch cards were counted up and the top 3 volunteers for 2009 are:

3. Drew Mechielson

We would like to all the volunteers who helped and especially those who did work without getting you card ‘punched.’ We know who you are!!

It takes a good group of people to keep our track running smoothly and we’ve got some of the best.

2010 Board of Directors

Just a quick note to say thank you to all of the 2009 board of directors for their efforts in 2009 and to welcome the new board of directors for 2010.

They are as follows:

Langley BMX wishes to thank all members who came forward at the AGM and showed interest in being part of the board of directors team for 2010. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available. Year End Potluck

Hey parents we need your help!!

We need food for the dinner this weekend. We have ordered enough chicken and potato wedges to feed the gang but we need to fill in the rest. Our desserts and drinks are covered as well. Salads, side-dishes and appies would round out the meal perfectly so bring your family specialty!! No junk-food please. If you have any questions or you want to lets us know what you’re bringing, send an email to info@langleybmx.ca

We have a potato salad, and 2 versions of greek salad covered.
