If you click on the standings button up top you will see that the ABA has made final all points for the 2011 season. Your ranking is your plate number for the 2012 season. Please ensure that when racing starts this spring that you have the correct humber on your plate. We will have number plates and numbers at the track ready to go.

The rulebook has been posted for 2012 as well, there have been a few changes to the way Nationals are run and a few tweaks for Pro riders. It’s a good thing to know the rulebook when racing starts, we will have the new books available at the track to read but if you’re a keener, click here.

The board will be sitting down soon to start planning the 2012 season, if you have any thoughts or ideas, send us an email and we can discuss them at the meeting.

With the release of the Canadian National schedule a few weeks ago, you might have noticed that Langley was awarded a National race August 3-5 2012. For those who have never been to a National race, it brings in riders from all over the North West. We expect over 500 riders from California, Oregon, Washington and Alberta. If you want to help out either as a volunteer or a sponsor, please let us know. Preparation for the event has already begun but there is always room for more help.

Langley BMX

So as most of out membership knows, the information surrounding the theft at Langley BMX has been made public. The Langley Times will publish a story in tomorrows paper with all the details. This was not our choice but after being contacted by a reporter, we wanted to ensure that the details published were correct. We have not seen the story but we hope everything is true to the facts. Our concerns were always with the kids of the persons involved and we want them to know they are always welcome at the track. Please support these kids and respect their privacy.

They changed our staging for the parade we are now staging in:

Area ZONE 3 which is located in the Timms Community Centre/City Hall main parking lot.

The entrance of ZONE 3 is the laneway between Langley City Hall and Timms Community Center just off of Douglas Crescent.

Come on out on December 3,2011 for the Magic of Christmas Parade

Meet at: Fraser HWY & 203 St @ 5.00PM

It is a night parade so bring glow sticks and headlamps.

All riders and parents are invited, don’t forget your jerseys and  wear your helmet if you’re riding.
