Ok folks, we have been working for the past few days on rectifying our points and membership situation here at the track. We had discovered some errors in communications with the ABA and as of today they have all the necessary paperwork to post accurate numbers. All the races and all the membership forms for both new and renewing members have been submitted to the ABA. Give them a few more days to process everything and we should have accurate standings soon.

After we sift through the paperwork here and get a better idea of what has happened, we will have a general meeting to explain everything. We hope to have this meeting ASAP so keep an eye on the website for all the details. We understand the frustration in tracking your points and we’re doing all we can to solve the problem.

We thought we were going to make it but the rain is messing with us. On again off again, no practice tonight. We’ll see everybody Tuesday for racing.

Langley BMX will be accepting applications for all of the following Board of Director positions for the 2011 season. President, Vice President, Treasurer/Secretary, Track Operator and Three directors/member positions for a total of Seven positions.

Please send us an email to info@langleybmx.ca with your intentions and what positions you would like to apply for. All nominees will have their name posted on the website with the position that they are interested in. At the AGM (Annual General Meeting) a vote will be held (one vote per family) and the new board of directors will be picked. The cut off for applications will be midnight October 15th.
