WOW!!

Another fantastic turn-out for the work party on Sunday. Everybody worked hard to bring the track back to life. We just want to thank everyone who gave up part of their weekend to get dirty for us. When over 20 parents and kids all put in such a great effort you know we’re doing something right!!!

Work party this Sunday July 12th. And when we say party, we mean party. The weeds are taking over, the concession needs a scrub and did I mention the weeds? Sunday morning 9-1pm come out even it’s for an hour, bring some work gloves and help us out.

Here are some samples of Blair Henderson’s work. He will be a regular fixture at our track moving forward.

When you go onto his site ( www.sidelinehotshots.com ) you will see a tab above the slide show “On-Line Proofing”. Click on it, and look for the gallery that you would like to see.  You will need to register to view; the site will track your favorites and you can go back at any time and view, even if you don’t purchase.

Passwords are:

Rain Info

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Unfortunately we had to cancel both the practice and the race this week because of rain.  The track can actually absorb quite a bit of water and still be dry enough to ride in about an hour. So we look to the skies and try and guess if it will be dry by 6pm. We would prefer not to cancel anything and we wait until the last minute to post a cancellation (usually by 5pm).  If there is nothing posted here then we will try and ride. Until we have a retractable roof, the rain can still spoil a night of racing.
