January 28th, 2010

borderline_nationals_bmx-47

The gang at Langley BMX have been hard at work during these rainy days preparing for the upcoming season. One of the major projects that we’re working on is a trophy team. The team is open to riders of all abilities and ages. The goal of the team is to improve riding skills while contributing to the community in a variety of ways.

We’re hoping to get as many riders involved before the season opens in the Spring.

Click here to download a document for all the details.

The program is still in the planning stages and we welcome all questions and input. So please drop us an email and let us know what you think!!

Volunteer Awards

December 9th, 2009

So the punch cards were counted up and the top 3 volunteers for 2009 are:
1. Charles Kemp
2. Jack Hutton
3. Drew Mechielson

We would like to all the volunteers who helped and especially those who did work without getting you card ‘punched.’ We know who you are!!

It takes a good group of people to keep our track running smoothly and we’ve got some of the best.

Thanks again from Langley BMX

Another fine photographer that was at our National this summer was Brian Finestone. If you click on this link you can see some of the fantastic shots he took that weekend. Brian also contributed some photos to Langley BMX to be used in some promotional material this week. Please take a look and purchase a shot or two and help support Brian if you can. Big thanks to Brian from Langley BMX!!
